my life seems to be improving by the year, since hitting the post-pre-teen years (14+). i'm only 17 now so i suppose i have no right to be sad or discontent.

highs:
- going to ukraine for the euro championship
- my most productive year, musically: being included on two compilations
- field day festival
- hanging out in a barn in devon playing pool and listening to death grips
- getting my first writing job, and then 2 more!
- an ever growing list of connections with musicians, writers and people of that ilk
- the fantastic gigs i've attended, from van dyke parks to tune-yards

lows:
- being assaulted by a security guard
- not getting school promotions
- often feeling depressed for no other reason that longing, discontent and boredom
- spending way too much time staring gormlessly at computer screens
