so....i'm in sainsbury's

often with a big news event i might peruse the papers to see how the respective headlines are dealing with it..

with england out last night, i had a little look over the papers to see how they were running with it.

i get to the Sun, and, unlike the others, i actually pick it up to turn it over and have a quick look at the back page.

there are two containers for the Sun. as i turn the paper, said pensioner (not an oldie oldie...just a woman easily in her sixties. with hearing aid) comes over to me and says, 'excuse me i'd actually like to buy a paper'

she's being very snooty in the way she's telling me this. she definitely wants to make a point.

so, with my back slightly up after her sly little dig, i reply...

'well there is another container there'....(pointing to the other big pile of sun papers in front of us)

then she says...

'yes, but people don't want a paper that's had your dirty fingers going through it'

so i told her to go and fuck herself, and walked away.

i was right, yeah? she totally deserved that.
