I think it's important we try to establish a broad DiS consensus on England's performance during Euro 2012. The way I see it, there's three or four lines we can take:

- We were looking very shakey before the tournament, had our weakest team in a while and were rocked by controversy, with every man and his dog predicting a disaster of a group stage. So all in all, an 'undefeated' four games that saw us top our group and a couple of younger players do okay and none of the old guard disgrace themselves is all right.

- England are a bunch of shit cunts and the Ashleys should be hanged for their crimes against penalties.

- What the fuck do I care? I once drank a German lager, so I don't even support England.

- It's not a dickhead thing- I'm just genuinely not English.

Quite fancy Ronaldo to pull down Spain's underwear and although Italy are obviously better than England, I saw nothing last night that suggested to me that Germany aren't going to spank them sideways.
