moousee and me were playing some video games last night and i realised i have very few good multiplayer co-op games in my collection of old stuff. there are some obvious classics for multiplayer such as goldeneye and the mariokart series but when it came to co-op we mostly drew blanks. out collective pudding was able to recall

super bomberman (and series)
double dragon plus other games of its ilk
turtles in time
altered beast (we played that for a while, really fucking hard)
golden axe
zombies ate my neighbours

and that was about it. was lost vikings a multiplayer game? i can't remember.

two player sonic 2 is a alright but it gets old fast.

what else?
