that island bit that has central park and times square on it. that's new york? brooklyn is in new york? that's in a different island bit to the east. what's the bit that is to the west of the central park island bit? if i was, for example, to stay somewhere on the central park island bit then is everything else just dead easy to get to from pretty much anywhere? times square up to the north end of broadway is like 5 or 6 miles? so the central park island bit is not that big?
