bats are great aren't they? one of my favourite things about summer evenings is when the bats take flight and swoosh around. last night we were round a mate's garden, it's a narrow town terrace garden with a big hedge round the bottom half. just before 10pm, 3 bats came to join us for a while, bussing withing less than a meter of us, it was lovely.
