This is a long shot I know, but does anyone here work at the UK Border Agency!?

My girlfriend applied for her visa to stay and work in the country (Tier 1 - post-study work) back in January, but she still hasnt get her new visa or her passport back. We're supposed to be going to Primavera next week, and have been getting excited about it all year, but now its looking like she might not be able to go which would Suck Balls.

I know they will be processing her application soon, based on what I've seen on an immigration forum (other people who did theirs a week before her are getting them back around now), but we are desperate to get her stuff sorted by Tuesday next week so that we can fly out on Wednesday.

Anyone dealt with them before or have any tips about anything we can try? Or if anyone knows someone that works there I'd be willing to pay a handsome bribe to get her case looked at!!
