doing a year in ukraine starting in september, was given some financial information etc. tuition fees, admin stuff seems pretty standard.

they've put "accommodation fee (monthly", which put through a currency converter is 40 pounds (!!!!), but I'm almost certain this cannot be the case because

1 - kyiv is cheap but not that cheap. pretty sure nowhere in the world is
2 - its standard practice to rip off foreign students, right?

theyve probably just missed off a 0 or something, and I thought it might be an admin, non-rent fee, but that wouldnt be monthly. Have e-mailed and asked about it but no reply yet. basically just doing this thread to ask if there's any way on earth this is genuinely a possibility.
