First, and this was 100% my fault, I got called a F****** C*** by a white van man. I was totally engrossed in the new Mount Eerie album and walked into the road without looking. So nearly got hit, and the cursing followed.

On my way back, as I walked up the hill home, I passed a elderly woman bent forward clutching her chest. I walked passed her but felt horribly guilty. I asked her how she was and she said "I'll be alright love, I just need to go to the post office". She thanked me and walked on. She didn't seem alright but I walked away reluctantly.
