so after reading the flatmate thread I wondered about the recovery and if they will ever be friends again.

I recently met a girl who use to cut herself and had alot of scars on her arms. She said shes fine now and its been years since she had done it. So my question is do you think people can truely become mentally stable after obviously not being?
