is it a good idea?

Is it going to end up as this generation's 'privatisation' of the railways, costing each and every one of us vast sums in subsidies long into the future whilst making the politicians' chums lots of 'profit'?

is it about time we got past this awfully Victorian idea that sometimes it's ok for the greater good if a public service loses a little bit of money?
