Hi. Do you have a pen pal? You seem like you might?

As of the past little while I've acquired a pen pal - someone I knew anyway but who is considerably far away enough for written correspondence to mean something.

It's not handwritten efforts - my scrawl looks like a monkey toddler covered his hands in ink and punched a piece of paper - just over email. But it's long form rather than any sort of IM chat situation.

And it's brilliant. I've been able to rant on about stuff, get anything niggling away at me off my chest and generally ask for advice, share in someone else's joys and woes, and shared mine with them. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Do you have a pen pal? Would you like one? I mean I've got one so I don't want you but you should find one.
