right, so i'm trying to build a spreadsheet that will help me work out an optimal number of cases per pallet based on case dimenions, pallet area and maximum stacking height, each being changeable by the user. i've done it except for the fact that i can not for the life of me work out how to make it take account for the fact that it's ok for some cases to lay longways while some sit widthways at the same time. any ideas at all?
