Wednesday Football Thread

Two bald men fight over a comb at Anfield.

Looking forward to Athletic vs Athletico. Yes it's a bit of a nonsense competition, but this Athletic side really are something special and this will likely be the last chance to see them play together.

Brum host Blackpool in the second leg of their play-off semi, Blackpool 1-0 up from last week. Think Birmingham will do it, maybe on pens.

Mcleish trying to sign Karl Henry. Good news for Villa as this presumably counts as gross negligence so they can get rid of him on the cheap.

Potential Rangers buyer Bill Miller takes one look at the books and legs it.

Eden Hazard says he'll be playing in blue next season. Bad news for Cardiff.

Papers claiming Hodgson has decided he can't have both Terry and Rio in his Euros squad. Some suggesting he'll leave Terry out which, from a footballing perspective, seems a bit silly.

Leighton Baines (who gets homesick on international duty) linked with Bayern.

Rob Green (who's rubbish) linked with Malaga.

Other transfer guff includes; Vorm to Arsenal, Hoilett to Sunderland, Elia to Liverpool and Ranieri to West Brom.
