My dad, who I suppose is somewhat above middle aged these days (just when is middle aged anyway?) recently ran the the London Marathon after taking up running a couple of years ago. As if this wasn't cliched enough, his last car was a super-charged boy-racer's style Ford Focus (people keep trying to drag race him at the lights) and he's just invested in a deli (actually I quite like the idea of having business).
