Asking on behalf of a friend - they are American and have a visa that lets them stay in the UK till the end of the year. They ideally want to stay here beyond that and need a job with a company that sponsors a new visa, and are looking at jobs with international companies that routinely have foreigners working abroad and are used to dealing with it. They question is, when applying, should they mention they only have six months left on their CV / cover letter, or just avoid it and let it come out in interview if needs be?
