See, I think all this austerity hard-nosing by David Cameron at the moment is a thinly-veiled reaction to his guitaring hero Johnny Marr telling him to stop talking about The Smiths in interviews because they don't want him as a fan. If Cameron and Marr had become mates, maybe he'd have loosened up a little and pawned some of the royal jewels so we could cope.
