Weird eh?

I think I've just become fed up with wasting energy on arguing, and generally making myself annoyed to satisfy one half of a dialogue about something I can't affect. I used to love just diving into some things head first and debating and all that, but these days...it's just not worth it, is it?

There are still some things I hold dear and would defend to the death, of course. But I've come around to the point of view that actually, what's paramount to me is having fun and getting by.

It's just odd because I studied politics, worked in the NHS, worked in parliament, was relatively active with all that. And now...just nothing.I barely keep up with what is being debated anymore. Of course if something catches my interest I'll look into it, but that's just the thing...MY interest. Not others'.

It's just becoming apparent with all these political/big talk threads on DiS. I've often started typing out a reply and just got past the first sentence and gone...what's the point? Really?

This wasn't meant to be anything like a thread, but it's weird thinking about how my personality/opinions have changed in the space of two or three years.

This happened to anyone?
