i was hoping these people (that have already been given the job) would know a little something about excel, know how to be critical of data and various other things that someone who has just been employed as a data analyst should be able to do. so far today i have had to

* teach them how to use pivot tables and vlookups

* explain to one of them that he is going to have to double click faster for it to count as a double click

* teach one of them what 'one decimal place' means

this is really very very hilarious. :D
