Wednesday morning thread

Verbal [Edit] [Delete] 10:51, 18 April '12

Hi!

My interviews yesterday went...hmm, interestingly. First one was good, hear back on friday about second interviews. Fingers crossed.

Second interview was me getting torn to pieces by a Business Director of a major publishing house. The agency I got the interview with rang me up about an hour before it to say 'itll be like one of those interviews in the apprentice' and it kinda was. Derailing my train of thought, tearing my work to tiny fragments and not letting you get comfortable. Despite that though it was actually quite enjoyable trying to fend my corner, even though it was like trying to stop the Barbarian hordes with a toothpick. It's people who are that demanding that you want to work for in the end. Doubtful I'll get the call though tbh.

Then I went orienteering around Southwark, which was ace! I got lost after 10 minutes, so just ran to the shard and worked my way around from there. If people like running but get bored by it easily then I'd massively recommend it. 2 quid entry, drinks afterwards and essentially just a lot of fun trying to find landmarks around the area. I ran something like 12km but didn't feel like anything.

What you up to, mates?
