came 2nd in the pub quiz again last night, there were two of us in the team, I checked out the winners, they only had 3 members (my ego demanded they have at least 4) but at least their combined age was twice ours.

It made me realise how arrogant and conceited and competative I am, I was really really annoyed.
I made up all sorts of excuses, like not getting the answer to
'who does the voice for stuart little' ....my mental excuse being, 'well thats pathetic...thats trivia, you've either seen the film or not.

Oh and on only getting 4 out of 5 of a list of actors who had a knighthood....the one I got wrong - albnert finney, I had to excuse myself with a 'well I was sure he was offered one' (he turned it down) Basically I had an excuse or dismissive for every answer we couldnt do or got wrong.

ARGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!

Is anyone else like this? Always got an excuse/reason for not being good enough?
