Went to see TP!IAAWS at the weekend with high hopes of it being another charming Aardman caper and it was... alright.

Looks great (as you'd expect), Hugh Grant was really good voicing The Pirate Captain, there's lots of silly little background gags I look to forward to spotting more of on dvd... but it is a little underwhelming, some of the characters are a bit of a non-event and the humour isn't up to the level you'll expect - you'll still smile and maybe chuckle once or twice but there's no bit that'll really stick with you.

Better than Flushed Away and Arthur Christmas, obviously not as good as W&G, still never really made my mind up about Chicken Run.

It does have a monkey butler in it though :D
