How do they calculate your degree result?

chris_is_cool [Edit] [Delete] 12:10, 11 April '12

I think I heard the head of english say it was done on GPA.

What's the method in which they do it? Or if I want to just do a guestimate now, what kind of sums would i have to do.

ie

2nd year is worth 1/3 of your degree and 3rd year is worth 2/3 with 6 modules in each yeah, how would I work it out (assuming I knew all of the grades I had for each module). Obviously it's fairly easy to guess if there's mostly 2:1s then you're going to get a 2:1, but I'm being all nervy now and want to try and find out what I'm likely to get as I now have most of my module grades back, with only a couple to go, but I have an idea of what I will get.
