Off the top of my head! I shall nominate Lawrence Kasden. Don't be a stupid fuck and say the Big Chill was a bad movie. When everybody already knows it's an awesome movie. Oh, and hello! Silverado. Which, im-humble-o, is the best Western ever made.

OK, who else? Let's say Aaron Sorkin. After every single episode of The West Wing I'd shake my head in disbelief...that someone (or a group of 20 someones-- let's be realistic-- could put together such an amazing show. Oh, and by the way, he did A Few Good Men, which might be the best courtroom drama ever (save Mockingbird).
