How much more advanced can razors get?

LOLpop [Edit] [Delete] 16:07, 1 April '12

I mean, I've just been checking out the new Wilkinson Hydro-glide. When I'd heard that this was coming out, I was initially a bit sceptical. I've always been a huge fan of the Quatro and, I suppose, I struggled to see how this shave could be improved.

But then I cast my mind back.......right back to 2009. The protector 3 was the Daddy on the block back in those days. Nothing could really compete with it; not even the Mach 3 - which I'd switched from after some years with Gillette, I felt it time for a change. I just remember thinking 'What the fuck - they're bringing out a new razor to supercede the Protector 3? If it ain't broke, what's the point in fixing it? But I couldn't have been more wrong. Seriously, could not have been.

So I'll give the hydro glide a whirl, and will no doubt be proven wrong. But how much further can shaving technology go - that's what interests me?
