Didn't mean to!
Someone played Ghostwriter by RJD2 last night. I pointed out that the vocal sample is Elliott Smith (I Didn't Understand)... Some guy said it wasn't because Deadringer came out years earlier than Elliott Smith.
I didn't mean to be so dickish about it but I kinda just cut him down quite brutally. Most of them steered clear of me after that.

Any similar tales?
