I've just gon past an edingburgh tram worksite with 13 men not working, AGAIN

creakyknees [Edit] [Delete] 18:27, 29 March '12

If it were a one off I would understand.
today there were 5 leaning on a railing chatting
1 in fron of them chatting
1 sat in a digger engine off chatting to another on the ground
1 sat in another digger, engine off chatting to another on the ground
2 standing nonchalently mirroring each other standing, each with a foot jauntily perched upon the shoulder of their spades chatting
1 man standing overseeing all of this.
outside the caging there were two couples of workmen leasurely sauntering in the sunshine hand in hand.

srsly these guys could teach office workers a thing or two

ps this was the same on monday and last thursday and the monday before (except I did spot 1 man working, well holding two pieces of cable in each hand and looking at them quizzically

pps I have previously done heavy manual labour on a farm, and lighter work working on buildings
