I've got a few but the one that I think of now is when I spent hours making a delicious asian broth, I then drained it over the sink to get rid of the star anise, cinamon stick etc but I forgot to put a bowl under the colander so all that lovely brothy goodness just went straight down the plughole and I was left with just the remnants.
