what are your experiences?

I'm probably going to be made redundant relatively soon, I should get just shy of 8 grand, and I've got a bit of savings as well.
I'm seriously considering taking some time out to set up my own thing, am starting the research right now.

I'm pretty sick of working for people and even if it goes all wrong i'd learn freaking loads and would be an awesome cv boost.

ANY TIPS?
