Commuting short cuts and secrets

vamos [Edit] [Delete] 17:29, 22 March '12

So I go to London Bridge in the morning and use to go down the escalators, through the shops, into the tube entrance, downstairs etc. The thing is, more often than not either the Jubilee or Northern line is down or over congested, meaning long waits of queues out the door.

But I have a secret, new route.

I walk straight out of the doors by the ticket barriers towards Borough Market and use the sneaky side entrance. It brings you right out on the Jubilee Line platforms and is ALWAYS open, meaning you can sometimes spawn an almost empty train whilst the other folk are stuck queuing upstairs. I reckon it's a few seconds longer walk on a clear run, but worth it 8/10.

So there you go. Do you have any sneaky London shortcuts?
