just wanted to ask whether anyone would be interested in sponsoring our efforts to built a theatre for the foundation which i'm working for. this is a town of 20,000 people in the middle of the mountains with no money for a theatre, we have the perfect space,and want to turn it into something that will really serve the community.
we are selling bricks to go on the walls of the theatre (when constructed) for $25, you can put anything on it - your names or a quote from your favourite play, you could do it as a band or a group or as a society or whatever you want.
sorry to be a total cheeseball but the education system here is repressive and involves lots of learning by rote and we provide the kids and the community with an opportunity to be imaginative and creative.
