minimum time period between two runs of redundancies

chris-budget [Edit] [Delete] 12:03, 13 March '12

hello all.
can anyone help me out with this. I have tried googling, but to not much help.

so pretty much what the thread title says.
Our company office laid off about 6 people from our office last year and relocated about a further 5, at a similar time a fair few other people were made redundant in the London and New York and Oxford offices, I don't have any idea of those figures.

Last week another 6 people where made redundant from our office, and I know that a couple of people in New York have been made redundant as well. I don't know if anyone else has been.

Is there any legal time-frame that has to elapse before another round of redundancies can kick in, or can they just drop teh R bomb on the rest of us next week?

Bit boring I know, sorry!

Cheers
