the new ones they put up, dont seem to stop traffic at all to let you cross, they seem to have cameras on top of them to look when cars arnt coming THEN change to the green man to let you cross. i can do this for myself so whats the point?? i pressed one yesterday and waited 5 minutes before it changed to green , and that was only when there was a lull in the traffic. which i would have noticed anyway and crossed . grrr, anyway rant over
