Music Social More…

question.

well, three...about jobs.

1) i've noticed a lot of you mentioning that you're unemployed of late. why are so many of you becoming unemployed of late? (not just the general "YEAH, THERE'S A RECESSION ON" stuff, i'm talking just the last couple of months, etc).

2) when you are unemployed, do you seriously consider, even apply for, all posible types of doable work, even the unskilled stuff that you're overqualified for (say, manual work, erm...data entry, washing old people, etc) with the mindset that "any paid job is better than no job, i'll do said shit job short-term and find something better" or more "nah, i've always wanted to do this very specific type of semi-skilled admin/be a paid music journo, if i start doing unskilled stuff again i could get stuck in a rut"/turn your nose up at the proles kinda thing?

3) do any of you do more than one part-time job instead of one full-time job? i'm thinking about doing this. what are the advantages/disadvantages?

cheers.

* must point out at this point that i'm still doing tremendously well for meself. thinking about buying a canal boat, actually (not to live in).
