Seems to be largely forgotten when the usual best sitcom discussions take place. Could be partly due to Kay's stand-up and the poor Max & Paddy spin-off I suppose. I'm reading the scripts for research purposes and am remembering how much of it was comedy gold. Brian Potter is a brilliant character and so much of it is fantastically observed.
