How would you deal with this situation

sharp_yet_blunt [Edit] [Delete] 12:06, 22 February '12

My gran thinks her next door neighbour is stealing from her. The neighbour helps her with day to day stuff she cant do on her own as shes getting old now. Recently my gran thinks money has been going missing from her purse. She is a typical old person who is forgetful but dont think shes completely lost her marbles yet. Its not unlikely though that she could be mistaken.

How would you approach this situation? Bear in mind that my gran doesnt really have anyome else to help her at home as we live far away, so accusing this neighbour of something she didnt do would cause a problem, but then again i dont really want anyone stealing from my gran.

Thoughts?
