I'm heading down tonight for the first time in months where I'm actually heading out to a pub for a few beers (before heading to a party).

I know stacks of pubs, but no idea what the prices are like any more anywhere.

Ideally looking for somewhere that still does non-shit pints for around the £3 mark rather than nearer £4, but I can't think of anywhere off the top of my head that might fit the bill.

Don't really think I can handle the Pav Tav, is it possible to find a quiet corner in the new(ish) Wetherspoons on North Street? Are there any hidden gems that still do £3ish pints?
