I think I'd quite like to be someone who goes to the theatre, because the cinema's ridiculously overpriced now and it will all be on telly eventually anyway, but the *theatre*... that's an experience you can't replicate anywhere else. And it just seems like more of an event than sitting in a darkened room in front of a big screen, doesn't it. Does anyone here go to the theatre? Haha, of course you do, look who I'm asking. What sort of theatre though? I'm thinking I'll begin with some contemporary stuff - David Mamet, Neil Simon... Anything written by a Jew, basically. Mamet's new one is going to debut in London, apparently, so that might be a good starting point, although I'm not sure where I'll go from there. How does one go about getting into theatre?
