bloody Scottish and Southern Electricity are doing 'essential maintenance work' and my power is meant to be off for 6-7 hours today. What the fuck?

Has this happened to anyone before?

It has been off and then it comes on for a second or two, like someone is just flicking the switch, having a laugh out on the street. Now it's been on for 5 or so minutes and could bang out at any time I guess. So obviously thought i'd post here.Lights going, heaters popping, speakers booming. Jesus christ.

So imma turn this thread into 'say something nice to someone else' maybe?
