So it's all happening.

I wake up this morning to find out that there is a new Xbox on the way - well 22 months away - twice as powerful as the 360, hence the amazing name 720 I guess?

It'll ship with a reworked Kinect that now works in a much smaller room size. I suspect this announcement may have been made to take the sheen off of Nintendo's announcement that the Wii U is going to be out before the end of the year.

Rumours abound about this one too. E3 will tell us all apparently. Specs stats range in report from about the same as a 360 to more powerful than a 720. At the end of the day though, I couldn't really give a toss about all that. If the rumours are true and Retro are indeed in charge of resurrecting Starfox or F-Zero, then I'd be a happy boy.

Big trailer reveal for RE6 this week too. Looks like more of everything, which seems to be most games developers plans these days. More multiplayer, story arcs, characters, graphics, weapons, modes, ways of playing... I suspect it'll have even less coherence and scares though. A shame, but I fear the series has lost it's way forever now.

I won't bore you with my gaming exploits (a few hours on Goldeneye multiplayer, a bit of Cut the rope, a continued quest to conquer Xenoblade Chronicles (84 hours in now, and the story just took a HUGE twist). What have you been up to?
