how do you cope with stuff that you can't really cope with, but are going to have to cope with anyway?

Le_Shambles [Edit] [Delete] 01:27, 23 January '12

i.e. you find out something you can't really do anything about and your life is a bit fucked but "there you go".

do you:

a) completely fail to cope with it, regressing into a helpless neonate blubbering and flailing helplessly beneath your duvet, compulsively torrenting escapist hollywood movies which you then watch on repeat in a festering pit of your own excrements until such time as the stuff is resolved (likely never)

b) pretend it isn't happening, and instead maintain that everything is fantastic, so fantastic in fact that you're going to go on a massive shopping spree and sleep with 34 people in a night, because things are so fantastic you can't just stop at one?

or something else?

basically do you let it overwhelm you straight away, or do you ignore it completely? or something else? PLEASE TELL ME THE SOMETHING ELSE. thanks.
