I wait until i really need new clothes before going clothes shopping as it's only in the depths of desperation that i can force myself to like something enough to buy it.

Food shopping i'm also pretty bad. I'll just chuck a few things in a basket and often get back to find that none of the things combine to make any kind of meal.
