what's the moment in your life where you've had to make a decision that could have gone really wrong?

mine was probably about 3.5 years ago, when I moved to Edinburgh to live my girlfriend. We'd only been going out for 18 months and I moved in as an fourth person in a shared three person house. I'd just been made redundant so figured there was nothing to lose, but looking back it could have gone very wrong.

extra question: what do you think your next leap of faith will be? think mine will be buying a house, which is going to involve a stupid amount of money and luckily shouldn't happen for a while yet...
