I was leaning out the window, having a cigarette. It was a wednesday, around 10 pm. Suddenly a car comes tearing down the road, hits the curb across the street, flips several times and ends up a few yards from my front door. Shit goes everywhere: debris, items of clothing, one solitary shoe which looks fairly terrifying.
Shaken up, I rush outside, as do all the neighbours' People are calling ambulances and I'm thinking to myself' 'Fuck, no one could have survived that'.
Then the driver stumbles out, unharmed but clearly smashed in other ways, brandishes a metal baseball bat in a semi-threatening manner and then stumbles off down the road before anyone really understands what's going on.

It was the damnedest thing. My mate thinks he stole the car. I figure he was probably just a dick.
