Shops that sell "vintage photos".

Nothing wrong with an idionsyncratic photo of a provincial town in the '40s, but buying a family snap of some strangers because you like their outfits? I'm undecided as to whether that's merely a bit strange or out and out tasteless. I don't want to think that those silly birthday pics of me'n'my mates in the pub might end up on some hipster's wall in fifty years. Also, what kind of families are these that would so casually-nay cynically-flog their photos like that? Shameful.
