I have some questions I would like to ask.

i) is its construction going to be funded by taxpayers and then it will be sold off to private companies so that they can run it to make a profit?

ii) If so why doesnt private investment build it? Isn't that the capitalist ethos?

iii) Is not such a high profile expensive one off, a prime target for terrorists or threat of terrorism or just anarchy, the terrorists would not even have to destroy the track, just damage to it, or threat to it....for heaven sake, I am sure they would have to close it down even if local youths put detonaors on the line (by detonators i mean the old railway devices put on rails used to communicate danger to drivers)......basically surely the cost of the security (in light of the extreme cost of olympic security and the paranoia surrounding gigs) to be maintained year round every day, would be prohibitive?
