I assumed it was business as usual today, but loads of people still seem to be off. I'm trying to write essays and I would prefer it if others were at work too.

Also, the TV guide still seems to think it's Christmas/New Year with all these bloody films on.

So what's the crack?

Also, my landlord bought us a load of beer to say happy new year. What an absolute chap! He doesn't even drink.
