Disappointing career arcs

xheathenx [Edit] [Delete] 14:06, 16 December '11

1) Jason Lee. It all started to slide after the 2nd series of My Name is Earl. 3 chipmunk movies later and i think all respect i have for him has since been ground to dust.

Having his own skateboard company is balanced out by him being a scientologist so they aren't counted.

8 tears out of ten

2) Metallica.

It all started to slide when they put out that pop-metal album and had their haircut. It's never been the same since. Loutallica doesn't appear to have shifted the trend towards ponderous, ill-advised projects which shit on their early catalogue from a great height.

There was a time in my life when I thought that it couldn't get heavier than Metallica. That me would weep 6 tears out of ten if he could see what they'd turn into.
