If you were working on a building site you wouldn’t do a big swap around of jobs every few years. You wouldn’t ask Gary the plasterer to have a stab at the plumbing, cos Gary doesn’t do plumbing, it’s not what he has done for the past 10 years, he’s not a plumber, to be quite honest, he’s fucking SHIT at plumbing as he has no experience doing it.
