when are people going to STOP buying BOOZE?

shadyadie [Edit] [Delete] 15:51, 21 November '11

Carter USM broke the bar record at Brixton Academy last week. A record previously held by, well, themselves. I expect the figure we're talking at here is in the mid-late £xx,xxx.

On the other hand, it was £4.55 for a can of lager poured into a plastic cup. And all Carter fans are alcoholics (there was actually only 200 people there LOL JK not really), so perhaps it's not surprising.

But surely there's got to be a point where people just go FUCK THIS and stop buying booze at these kind of gigs. It's getting stupid stupid prices now. I understand the reasons they charge so much but surely PEOPLE DON'T HAVE THIS MUCH MONEY. HOW CAN PEOPLE SPEND THIS MUCH.

There was a how-much-would-you-pay-for-a-pint-thread on here a while ago but i can't be arsed finding it again and anyway i no longer believe a single word which was said in it from what i can remember.

don't really know what the point of this thread is. 0 replies.
